The back panel is made from 96% polyester and 4% spandex knit material. The fingers are made from 83% nylon and 17% spandex knit material. The thumb back is made from 100% polyester knit material. &&Proportionally, the majority of the external surface area of the glove is constructed of knitted synthetic fabric. A knitted fabric forms the complete back panel of the glove and provides the individual shape of the fingers, thumb and much of the glove’s wrist and palm surround. The presence of the non-woven synthetic leather fabric on the palm and finger tips, thumb and overlays is significantly less than the knit fabrics. Accordingly, it is the synthetic knitted fabric that provides the glove with its’ essential character.
