If the AI gets a classification wrong, who is liable?
The licensed broker or importer of record retains full liability, same as today. CLIQ is a research and drafting tool, not a filing system. Every classification goes through broker review before it can be used. The audit trail captures the AI's initial draft, the GIR reasoning, and the broker's final decision including any overrides with reasoning.
What does CLIQ's audit report include?
CLIQ's audit report contains the product description, GIR rules applied (1 through 6), all tariff headings considered and eliminated with reasoning, chapter and section notes cited, Explanatory Note references, advance rulings cross referenced, PGA screening results for 9 agencies, sanctions check results, duty and tax calculation, FTA eligibility analysis, and the broker's approval or override with reasoning. Reports are exportable as PDF or CSV.
What is customs compliance monitoring?
Customs compliance monitoring is the ongoing process of checking whether previously filed HS classifications remain accurate as tariff schedules, advance rulings, duty rates, and regulatory requirements change over time. CLIQ performs this automatically: on the Trade Compliance plan and up (Trade Compliance, Broker CRM, and Enterprise), every classification is scanned monthly against current Canadian regulatory data. When a change affects an existing classification, CLIQ sends an alert with the specific change, the affected entries, and a recommended action.

Batch sizes can reach thousands of line items per upload.
Is my classification data secure?
CLIQ uses TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit and maintains isolated databases per country. Classification data is never used for AI model training, never shared with third parties, and never accessible to other customer accounts. Enterprise clients can configure data residency and request a private instance. Security questionnaire responses are available on request.
How much does CLIQ cost?
CLIQ has five tiers. Free is free with signup: single and Vision classification, manual entry one item at a time, with 3 credits included each month, then $1 per credit. Credit Packs let you buy volume credits with no subscription ($100 for 110 credits at $0.91 each, up to $5,000 for 6,500 credits at $0.77 each, a 30% bonus) and unlock bulk and all classification types. Trade Compliance is $495 per month on a 12 month agreement, or $5,049 per year paid annually (save 15%), and adds compliance monitoring, audit and reporting, a team workspace, and priority support with 500 included credits. Broker CRM is $695 per month, or $7,089 per year paid annually, and adds full CRM with 700 included credits (coming soon). Enterprise is custom annual pricing and adds SSO, API, dedicated support, and custom volume. Purchased credits never expire and roll over forever.
